Real Madrid are confident they remain the priority for Palmeiras youngster Endrick.
Endrick, who lifted the Copinha in January, is in the midst of what could be vital months in terms of his future. He doesn’t turn 16 until July, which is when he can sign his first professional deal – almost certainly with Palmeiras – but it was also expected that an eventual move to Europe would be sorted out in a similar timeframe, even though he wouldn’t be able to join any club outside Brazil until he turns 18.
Real Madrid have long been considered by all interested parties the front runner to sign the youngster, who is known to be a fan of the club, but they aren’t rushing into anything and are examining the ins and outs of a deal which wouldn’t be cheap, says Marca.
It is thought that any operation to bring Endrick away from Brazil would potentially cost as much as 45 million euros, much like was the case with Vinicius Junior and Rodrygo.
There is a sense that the other top clubs around Europe, including Premier League teams, are looking at Real Madrid to see what’s happening. Los Blancos feel comfortable in the advantage they currently have and will take their time to make a decision.
