Real Madrid coach Ancelotti cleared to work by RFEF

Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti has been cleared to continue working in LaLiga.

The Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) have confirmed that Ancelotti will be able to sit in the Real Madrid dugout, despite his UEFA coaching licence having expired on December 31.

Ancelotti joined Real Madrid last summer after parting ways with Everton, as he succeeded Zinedine Zidane and took charge of Los Blancos for the second time as coach.

Il Corriere dello Sport reports Ancelotti needs to undertake some mandatory courses to renew his coaching licence, but the RFEF confirmed to MARCA that the Italian will have no issue when it comes to guiding Real Madrid from the dugout until the issue is sorted.

The RFEF stressed that the Real Madrid coach is not exempt from complying with the regulations, while the club and Ancelotti have been looking for a way to find a solution.

In the last UEFA course held by the RFEF in 2021, Real Madrid were represented by Davide Ancelotti, who outlined the working methods that the Italian’s coaching staff have put into practice at Los Blancos.
