Belgian politician and former Olympics judo coach Jean-Marie Dedecker has taken aim at Real Madrid attacker Eden Hazard.

The current mayor of Middelkerke, when speaking with Krant van West-Vlaanderen, enjoyed a swipe at Hazard over his problems in Spain.

Of the former Chelsea star, Dedecker scoffed: “All that whining in the press about him, he’s just a little fat guy who got fat because of the money and the system.

“I can still see him running away when Georges Leekens replaced him and he went to eat a hamburger near the King Baudouin stadium!”

In his role as judo coach, Dedecker oversaw a record number of Olympic medals for Belgium.
