Manchester United manager Ralf Rangnick is set to stick with Cristiano Ronaldo to lead the club’s attack in the Manchester Derby.
Ronaldo has come under scrutiny in recent games for firing blanks in attack despite the team creating so many chances with a section of fans calling for the player to be benched in the coming game.

The Sun however reports that Rangnick is resisting the temptation to take Ronaldo out of the firing line for the game with the former Ral Madrid man expected to once again lead the team’s strikeforce.
Rangnick believes that Ronaldo will benefit from the eight days between matches to refresh his mind and body and will be pumped for the game after being linked with City in the summer.
Elanga on Ronaldo:
“I like to ask him questions & listen to what he says so I can find out what I can improve, I have asked things like how he shoots, how he works mentally & how he reacts when things do not go so well. He is very kind and takes the time to talk to me.” pic.twitter.com/bpvuDZaIEa

Should Ronaldo be benched, Marcus Rashford might come into the starting team due to his speed with Anthony Elanga and Jadon Sancho being the other players who are fighting for the attacking positions.
