PSG goalkeeper Gigio Donnarumma says they’re happy after their Champions League round 16 win against Real Madrid.
PSG won the first-leg 1-0 thanks to a late Kylian Mbappe winner.
“It was so satisfying, we should’ve scored earlier, but Kylian took care of it,” Donnarumma told Mediaset.
“We are very happy, it’s going to be another big game in Madrid. We feel strong and know that giving 100%, we can beat anyone. I am proud to be part of this squad and this club.”
Lionel Messi had a penalty saved by Real Madrid keeper Thibaut Courtois.
“I have nothing to say about Leo, these things happen to everyone,” continued Donnarumma. We all know who Leo Messi is. We have many champions here who can change the game, Kylian scored, but we all played an incredible game.
“Kylian is an alien, he’s an extra-terrestrial! You see it in training, in games between ranks, he’s just incredible. I don’t know what he’ll do next season, that is up to him, but we will enjoy him every day he’s here.”
