PSG duo Neymar and Donnarumma slam claims of bust-up after Real Madrid defeat

PSG attacker Neymar has denied a dressing room row with Gigio Donnarumma after their Champions League defeat at Real Madrid.

PSG were knocked out after losing 3-2 on aggregate, and it was reported that Neymar criticised Donnarumma for his mistake for Karim Benzema’s opening goal, which led to the two having to be separated in the dressing room.

However, Neymar has now come out to deny this information by sharing a screenshot of his last conversation with Donnarumma, making clear that their relationship is perfect.

Donnarumma began the chat at 12:11 CET by sending Neymar a link to a MARCA version of the news, which led to them conversing in Spanish.

“Ciao Ney. I’m sorry about yesterday. This news is unacceptable,” Donnarumma wrote.

“Mate! Relax! This can happen in football. We are a team and we are with you. You’re still very young and you’re going to win loads! Keep your head up and let’s keep going. Hug,” replied Neymar at 15:36 CET.

Neymar then wrote an Instagram story to criticise the story.

“I hate coming here and talking about the news, but the stuff in the previous post is a lie,” it read.

“There was no fight inside the dressing room. Incompetent journalists who want to promote themselves, give it a rest, okay?”
