Borussia Dortmund play Chelsea in the second-leg of the Champions League Round of 16 on Tuesday night. The Bundesliga side come into this game with a slender 1-0 lead and belief that they can advance to the quarter-final as they look to keep their 100 percent record in 2023 going.

Prior to Borussia Dortmund’s 2-1 win against RB Leipzig, Gregor Kobel had a muscular issue during the warm-up and was replaced by Alexander Meyer. Kobel has traveled with the squad to London and Edin Terzic will make a late decision on who will start in goal.

In defence, BVB are without Julian Ryerson who has a suspension, and so we can expect to see Raphael Guerreiro come in at left-back with Marius Wolf on the opposite flank. Terzic’s prefered defensive partnership of Nikas Süle and Nico Schlotterbeck is likely to remain.

In midfield and attack, expect Terzic to name the same players that started against RB Leipzig on Friday night. A midfield three of Emre Can, Salih Özcan and Jude Bellingham behind Julian Brandt, Marco Reus and Sébastien Haller. Donyell Malen also returns after missing the game against RB Leipzig.
