Paul Pogba has been spotted back at Manchester United training, fueling speculation that the midfielder is close to returning to first-team action.

Due to a thigh ailment he nabbed while on international duty with France, the 28-year-old has not played for the Red Devils since the beginning of November.

With his contract set to expire at the end of June, the midfielder’s future at Old Trafford is still up in the air, with reports suggesting that United may be willing to let him leave on a free transfer.

However, with the club presently fighting on three fronts in the Premier League, FA Cup, and Champions League, Pogba could be available for the 20-time English champions during a congested moment.

Cristiano Ronaldo is also practicing with his Man United teammates ahead of Wednesday’s match against Brentford, indicating that the Portugal international will be fit to play against the Bees after recovering from a hip injury.

The Red Devils have only won one point in their last two league games, losing to Wolverhampton Wanderers and then drawing 2-2 with Aston Villa.
