Newcastle United have undergone a boardroom change.
ChronicleLive reports the changes see director Majed Al Sorour departing the role he took up last year and the appointment of new directors Abdulmajid Ahmed Alhagbani and Asmaa Mohammed Rezeeq. Abdulmajid Ahmed Alhagbani is senior manager of head of securities in the Middle East and North Africa with PIF.
He has previously held positions at HSBC Saudi Arabia. He has been a board member with the Kingdom Holding Company since May 2022.
Asmaa Mohammed Rezeeq is a senior analyst with PIF since 2018. She has held a similar role at Istithmar Capital between 2016 and 2017.
Co-owners Amanda Staveley and Jamie Reuben also remain as well as chairman and Public Investment Fund supremo Yasir Al Rumayyan. Al Sorour officially left his role in December after a matter of months on Tyneside.
