Newcastle United defender Sven Botman was proud to be part of their 0-0 draw at Manchester United.
Botman received a wealth of praise from supporters, the media and Howe for his Old Trafford showing as the summer signing kept Cristiano Ronaldo at bay until his withdrawal.
Quizzed on why Newcastle are proving so hard to beat, Botman told Swedish TV it was down to the team spirit of Howe’s group.
“It all starts with a real team feeling,” he told Viaplay Football. “Right from the start when I arrived here, I already felt it. Everyone is working with each other.
“It’s like a real team and you see it on the pitch. We fight for each other. That’s where it all starts. We see the results and we want to continue like this. It’s going well.”
