Monza contemplating a sensational move for Zlatan Ibrahimovic

Milan striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic is reportedly set to be approached by Serie A side Monza in the upcoming days to discuss a potential move in the future.

According to a report by Daniele Longo, former senator and now Monza CEO Adriano Galliani is seriously considering making an offer to 41-year-old Zlatan Ibrahimovic. The Swedish legend’s contract expires with the Rossoneri at the end of this season and he will consider all the options including his age, fitness and pressure before joining another club.

Galliani dreams of a future where the high-profile striker dons the colours of his club and represents his city where he will be able to announce his farewell to the game.

Before listening to offers from external clubs, Zlatan will give priority to his current club, Milan and will understand what sporting directors Paulo Maldini and Frederic Massara’s plans are.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic consecrated himself as the oldest goalscorer in the history of Serie A recently in the game against Udinese. He has been ageing like fine wine and due to his fitness levels, he was also called up by the Swedish National side. The striker has experienced a wonderful career and while there’s a possibility of retirement at the end of this season if the Rossoneri disagree to renew him, he will think twice before hanging up his boots.
