Marcus Rashford hits out at attitude claims

Manchester United striker Marcus Rashford has hit back on the accusation about his attitude in games.

The Englishman had a torrid afternoon as United struggled to beat Aston Villa in the FA Cup on Monday night with former Reds striker Dimitar Berbatov urging the player to pull himself out of his clump.

According to The Telegraph, Rashford has fired back at those claims insisting, if anything, he cares about the club too much. On occasions, he reckons he has taken on too much responsibility and sacrificed himself for United and there is no way his commitment should be questioned.

The report claims he is acutely aware of his poor form, but it’s ill-informed and insulting to attribute it to his attitude.

Rashford has struggled for form in recent weeks and has now failed to score in 11 games with Rangnick said to be ready to offload players who are not happy to be at the club.

Rashford has less than 18 months to run on his current United deal and it remains to be seen if he will finish his career at the club as earlier intimated
