Manchester United are ready to listen to offers for left-back Brandon Williams.
Williams spent last season at Norwich and was one of their most important players and while they were relegated, the player is not willing to return to his parent club if he isn’t guaranteed more first-team action.
There have been reports that new United manager Erik ten Hag will want to bring in several fresh faces in a bid to improve United’s defensive, across the middle of the pitch and in front of goal.
In an exclusive column for Caught Offside, renowned football agent Rob Segal claims that YMU Group client Brandon Williams could leave Old Trafford this summer after getting a taste of regular football in the top flight.
“He is a young lad and had to move to the other end of the country, but what he doesn’t want to do now is go back to Old Trafford and just wipe off all this season’s hard work by sitting back on the bench,” Segal said.
“Manchester United knows and appreciate this, so for Williams, it is more probable for him to go out on another loan, but Manchester United isn’t ruling out any eventuality.
“It is now the job of the representative to take any offers for Williams back to Manchester United to consider, and I am informed that assurances to do so have been made by the club.”
While there has no team that has been linked with the player, Williams who managed 29 games last season with Norwich is said to be keen on staying in the Premier League.
