Liverpool defender Nico Williams is set to join English Championship side AFC Bournemouth on a loan deal until the end of the season.
Williams has found games hard to come by due to the presence of Trent Alexander Arnold and James Milner with the player currently being the third choice at the club.
According to the Liverpool Echo, Williams cut short a Dubai vacation to talk through his options before the transfer window shuts at the end of January with Bournemouth who are chasing Premier League promotion said to be keen on the player.
In other Liverpool news, Neco Williams wanted by Bournemouth on loan until end of season. Could be good move for him – regular first-team football + experience of being part of Championship play-off push. NW open to switch given World Cup later this year. Needs to play more. #LFC

The 20-year-old feels that moving a tier down might be a step in the right direction in his aim of getting more game time as he seeks to be part of the Wales squad for the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
It remains to be seen if a deal can be reached before the transfer day deadline with other reports indicating that the player would be keen to turn the deal into a permanent one should the Cherries make it to the top flight.
