Juventus to hold talks with Atletico Madrid and Everton before deciding on transfers

The futures of Moise Kean and Alvaro Morata are far from settled in Turin, with Juventus soon holding talks to decide on potential transfers.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Juventus will try to lower the valuation for Kean and Morata in a meeting with Everton and Atletico Madrid after the end of the 2021/22 season.

Having been impressed by the Spaniard last summer, the Old Lady extended Morata’s loan deal by a year in the summer of 2021. It’s believed that Morata’s current contract has an option to buy worth €35million, which could be activated this summer.

But the Bianconeri management doesn’t want to pay the amount to redeem the striker’s services, although the player would reportedly love to stay in Turin. Hence, a meeting with Atleti seems imminent, with the Italian club intending to offer Atleti a maximum of €20million in exchange for Morata’s permanent services.

Kean joined Juventus last summer after Cristiano Ronaldo had left the club for a move to Manchester United. There is an obligation of €28million in his contract. Furthermore, Juve will pay €7million as part of the two-year loan deal plus €3million in various bonuses.

Nevertheless, Bianconeri seems reluctant to redeem the services of Morata and Kean by paying €60million in total. If both players fail to justify their valuation before the end of the season, Juventus will hold talks with Atleti and Everton to lower the prices.
