Fulham boss Marco Silva admits they see an opportunity against struggling Aston Villa tomorrow night.
The Cottagers will host Villa after their defeat at home to Chelsea.
Silva said, “[Every game] is a good opportunity to fight for three points, to perform well. That is really important for us.
“It is a very good challenge, a tough challenge. We play against a very good team with quality around the pitch. We have to be at our best level; some things we have to keep going, other things we need to improve.
“I’ve had tough moments and good moments, I prefer to highlight the good. People sometimes focus on things that aren’t important for managers. Sometimes in 18 months you have one or two bad moments that are highlighted.
“Tough moments make you better. I’m sure Steven Gerrard knows how to deal with this situation. He has experience as a player and some as a manager; you have to enjoy it. Your career us long even as a young manager.”
On Aleksandar Mitrovic, Silva added: “All the focus is on him. We trust him and he is very important for us. We should score more. Our wingers should pop up and score more for us.
“It was nice to see Andreas [Pereira] scoring against West Ham; his first goal. I’m saure others will pop up too.”
