Flamengo vice president Marcos Braz admits Arturo Vidal still needs to sort out his paperwork to complete his move from Inter Milan.
Braz also confirmed interest in Vidal’s Inter teammate Alexis Sanchez.
He said of Vidal, “He has to go to Italy to resolve some personal issues that prevent him from making an announcement. He still has to resolve these details, but we will not have any kind of problem.”
On Alexis, Braz also said: “I’m not saying it’s possible. There are some market opportunities, so I won’t say if it’s possible or not. I won’t talk about the arrival of a single player.
“Not even because, if I wanted and confirmed it, that would interfere with the negotiations.
“There is a financial part, several situations that have to be analysed from this aspect. What I can tell the fans is that Flamengo will have a big transfer window.
“It hasn’t started yet, but we will have a pleasant surprise so that on the 20th, against Juventude, all the reinforcements will be available to Flamengo.”
