EPL: Five highest-scoring players in all competitions this season

The Premier League has seen some good goals scored this season while a number of players have been consistent in putting the ball at the back of the net. 

We all agree Mohammed Salah has been outstanding this season as he leads the charts with the most goals. But which other players have been impressive in front of the goal? We take a look below; 

Mo Salah – Liverpool

Salah has been in fine form this season and has scored 27 goals this season. The Egyptian has averaged a goal in every 108 minutes across all competition. 

The former Roma man is seven goals clear in the race for the Premier League Golden Boot. 

Riyad Mahrez – Manchester City 

Mahrez occupies the second position in the scoring charts this season having netted 21 goals for the Cytizens. The Algerian grabbed a brace over the weekend as City beat Manchester United 4-1. 

The 31-year-old has made just 23 starts for Pep Guardiola’s side in all competitions and on hitting the 21-mark, it means the winger has scored at least a goal after every 107 minutes across Premier League and Champions League this campaign.

  • Diogo Jota – Liverpool, 17
