Early Man United team news ahead of Brighton clash

Manchester United will be boosted by the return of a number of their key stars for Saturday’s Premier League clash at Brighton.

United will be looking for a second successive win, following Monday night’s success at home to Brentford.

Harry Maguire and Aaron Wan-Bissaka, who both missed the match against the Bees, were pictured in training with the rest of the team, suggesting they will be in contention for the clash at Amex Stadium.

Maguire had been dealing with a knee issue, which made him an absentee for United’s last two matches, along with Wan-Bissaka, whose problem was unknown.

Rangnick could however choose to stick with the same back-four that played last time out, which was made up of Diogo Dalot, Victor Lindelof, Raphael Varane, and Alex Telles.

Eric Bailly and Phil Jones will also be in contention to play, all being well.

Luke Shaw (leg), Paul Pogba (calf), and Jadon Sancho (tonsillitis) remain on the sidelines, with coach Ralf Rangnick suggesting they may not feature again this season.

United’s win over the Bees on Monday night saw them keep their slim hopes of playing Champions League football.

They are currently sixth on the standings, three points behind Tottenham in fifth, even though Spurs have two matches at hand.

The Red Devils’ last match of the season will be away at Selhurst Park against Crystal Palace.
