Barcelona president Joan Laporta has confirmed they have made progress in their bid to sign former Arsenal striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
The deal seemed dead in the water a few hours ago, but the latest news from the Catalan club is that the Gabon international could be signing soon.
Laporta further confirmed Ousmane Dembele could be on his way out, with Chelsea said to be in advanced talks to sign him.
“It seems that we will pull it off,” the Barcelona president told reporters, before adding; “Mateu Alemany (club director) has told me he thinks we will sign him,”

Arsenal are resigned to losing the striker, who fell out with the club following a disciplinary breach in December, last year.
