Leicester City boss Brendan Rodgers admits he’d like to keep Youri Tielemans at the club ahead of a potential summer move.
The midfielder is believed to have told the club about his intentions to leave the King Power in search of a club that could guarantee him trophies as he comes towards the end of his final year at the club.
Ahead of their weekend game, Rodgers said of the Belgian: “We want to keep as many of the core players as we can, and Youri would come into that, but that is not down to ourselves, that is a two-way thing.
Arsenal have Gabriel Jesus on top of their list after new direct contacts on player side. He’s expected to leave Manchester City after Haaland deal, no direct contacts between clubs yet. 🇧🇷 #AFC
Youri Tielemans is part of the list too, highly rated – UCL football could be key.

“The club needs a dose of hunger, but any team would want that. We have had fantastic signings come in, but you need to reintroduce hunger with some fresh signings, and quality. That will be our challenge in the summer, especially when there are clubs with more money.”
The Belgian has strongly been linked with a move to Arsenal with Manchester United and a host of European clubs said to be monitoring his situation.
