FC Barcelona has secured a place in next season’s Champions League following their win over Real Betis on Saturday night.
Betis who are fighting for a Champions League spot too gave a spirited fight but went 2-1 down in the tie with the win ensuring that Barcelona will retain their second place in the league title having 69 points in 35 games.

In the game, the returning Ansu Fati broke the stalemate in the 75th minute but Betis were quick to put a stop to the celebrations four minutes later courtesy of Marc Bartra.
Jordi Alba was not one to be left behind after two La Masia graduates had their names on the scoresheet, and scored the winner in the 94th minute with a wonderful volley.

The Laliga giants could etch their name into the Spanish Super Cup as well by game week 37 with the team set to take on Celta Vigo at the Camp Nou in midweek before they head to the to lock horns against Getafe.
