Arsenal legend David Seaman believes Mikel Arteta has won the supporters over this season.
The Gunners are on track to finish in fourth-place with four games remaining.
It would mark a fantastic achievement by Arteta and his team, and Seaman thinks the fans are right behind the Spaniard.
“I think Arteta has won the fans over now,” Seaman told BBC Radio 5 Live Breakfast. “He talked a lot about believing in the process but fans were asking: “What process?”
“Now, you can really see what’s happening. He’s tried to bring youth through and blend with a bit of experience, and that’s been great to see.”
After winning the FA Cup in 2020, some supporters were calling for Arteta to be sacked after an eight-placed finish in the league last season.
But Arteta has lead his young squad in an excellent campaign which could result in their first Champions League appearance since 2016/17.
