Ancelotti delighted with Paz as Real Madrid defeat Napoli

Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti was delighted after their 4-2 Champions League win against Napoli.

Real won 4-2 after late goals from Nico Paz and Joselu.

Ancelotti said, “This was a tight game, a really competitive fixture against a quality rival. We were good with the ball, we didn’t rush; we played out quite well. I think perhaps we could have been better in defence, better organised and shown more defensive aggression.

“Just when we looked like we didn’t have the energy to win it, we showed precisely the opposite and completed five wins out of five.”

He continued, “Nico brought something to the match and did what we’d hoped he would. He’s one for the future of this club because he’s got all the qualities a Real Madrid footballer needs. But he gave us something right now, in an important moment. A good night for him.

“Every day, Jude surprises us. Every match. Maybe not just us, perhaps the whole world. Bellingham is a gift to football, not just this club. The world’s delighted to see a guy with this talent, potential, promise and, hopefully, he’ll just continue as he is.

“He’s adapted really well to our group. He’s a serious professional: he works, he gets on extremely well with the others – he’s got to improve his Spanish, but as I always say… nobody’s perfect!”
