Four managers have been nominated for the Barclays Manager of the Month award for January.
Among the four managers to battle for the award include, Liverpool’s Jurgen Klopp, Manchester City’s Pep Guardiola, Norwich’s Dean Smith and Wolves’ head coach Bruno Lage.
Guardiola’s side City was unbeaten in their three matches during the month of January where the league leaders registered two wins and a single draw. The Cityzens dropped two points following their 1-1 draw with Southampton.
Klopp also led Liverpool to two wins, one draw and a single loss. The Reds were forced to a 2-2 draw by Liverpool before beating Brentford and Crystal Palace.
Dean Smith led his Villa side to two wins, and a single loss as he steered Norwich City out of the relegation zone with back to back wins against Everton and Watford.
And finally, Bruno Lage had a 100% record with three wins out of three matches. The Wolves beat United 1-0 followed by wins against Southampton and Brentford.
