Mario Balotelli has been recalled to the Italy national team for the first time since 2018 as the Azzurri prepare for the upcoming international friendlies.
Goalkeeper Marco Carnesecchi, defenders Luiz Felipe and Giorgio Scalvini, midfielders Nicolò Fagioli, Davide Frattesi, and Samuele Ricci, and forward Joao Pedro have also received their first call up to the national team.

The team is set to meet on Wednesday for the first session at the CTF of Coverciano.
