đź“… Arsenal’s remaining fixtures  | Futaa.com

Arsenal missed out on the chance to reclaim the top-four spot on Monday night as they suffered a 3-0 loss to Crystal Palace.

It was a horrendous night for Arsenal as they were outshined, outplayed and outfought at Selhurst Park. The Gunners found themselves trailing inside 16 minutes of play courtesy of  Jean-Philippe Mateta’s header before Jordan Ayew made it 2-0.

The north London side then made some changes at the start of the second half with Gabriel Martinelli coming in for Nuno Tavares who had a below the par performance. Mikel Arteta’s men seemed to have at least gotten back in the hunt to reduce defeat. However, Smith Rowe missed a sitter while Martin Odegaard also had another chance to cut Palace’s lead.

Odegard brought down Wilfried Zaha inside the danger zone and the Ivorian punished the Gunners from the spot to make it 3-0.

What next for Arsenal?
