🎯 Five Fastest Liverpool players to hit 150 goals

Mohamed Salah reached a milestone over the weekend as he netted his 150th goal for Liverpool in their 3-1 victory over Norwich City.

The Reds came from a goal down to secure a 3-1 win with Mo Salah netting the second goal for Jurgen Klopp’s men. The Egyptian has been in fine form for Liverpool this season and his strike over the weekend saw him climb up the Reds’ all-time list of leading scorers.

We take a look at the five fastest players to score 150 goals for Liverpool;

1. Roger Hunt

Hunt is at the top of the list of players to reach 150 goals in fewer matches. Liverpool’s all-time record scorer in the league netted 150 goals in just 226 matches.

A goal poacher, he netted 20+ league goals in five consecutive seasons for Liverpool.

2. Mo Salah

Salah is ranked second for the fewest games he played before reaching the 150 milestones. The Egyptian showed what he is capable of in his first season at Liverpool after joining from Roma.

The 29-year-old netted 32 league goals, breaking the Premier League’s scoring record for a 38-game campaign.

3. Gordon Hodgson

Ranked third, Gordon scored 150 goals in 242 appearances for the Reds. He rewrote Liverpool’s scoring records during the 1920s and 1930s where on average he saw the back of the net more than 20 times per campaign in all competitions for more than a decade.

4. Ian Rush

Rush reached the 150-goal mark in 249 games for Liverpool. He remains the Reds’ all-time goalscorer having netted 346 goals across two spells.

5. Robbie Fowler

Fowler, who remains the youngest player to reach 50 goals in the Premier League hit the 150 milestone in 261 games. He netted 183 goals for the Reds, the sixth-highest total in Liverpool’s history.
