Paraguay is winless in their last five matches and they’ve failed to score in all five of those matches. Uruguay has had similar struggles in front of goal recently. After failing to score in four of their last five (D1, L4), they’ve made it too easy for their opponents as in three of those four defeats, they were 2-0 down at half-time. Uruguay has also registered just one win in their last eight qualifiers on the road (D3, L4).
🏟 Chile vs Argentina
Copa América champions Argentina are unbeaten in their last 27 matches, winning 18 in that sequence. A recent away win in Uruguay and a 0-0 draw with Brazil are results that show off their steelier side and La Albiceleste will still have their eyes on top spot in qualifying. Even without Leo Messi, they should have enough quality to get a slender win in the city of Calama. Argentina hasn’t conceded before half-time in 15 consecutive matches.
