Marcin Bulka’s two shootout saves helped Nice defeat holders Paris Saint-Germain 6-5 on penalties following a goalless draw in their last-16 French Cup clash on Monday.
Bulka, who is on loan from PSG, denied Leandro Paredes and youngster Xavi Simons in the shootout, putting an end to PSG’s supremacy in the cup, which they had won six of the previous seven seasons.
Nice will now face Olympique de Marseille in the quarter-finals, following Monday’s draw.
