West Ham United boss David Moyes has stated that his side fears no one in the Europa League.
The Hammers take on the competition’s kings Sevilla, who have won the tournament six times.
However, the Premier League outfit are not covering in fear of their Spanish opponents, and their manager expects them to get a win in the round of 16 first leg tie on Thursday.
“I expect my players to win,” said Moyes pre-game.
“If we play Chelsea, Liverpool, Manchester City, I expect them to win. I’m really disappointed when we don’t win.
“We’re showing in the big games this season that we’ve stood up and been counted – it has been a challenge to the players and us. Probably we’ve found it harder in a different type of games, against the lesser teams, but we’re playing a very good team tomorrow.
“I feel [European knockouts] are where this group of players should be.
“I think the group of players we have got are capable, there have been times in the season where I have thought it wouldn’t matter who we are playing, that we would get a result and win.”
