Chelsea are emerging as the club with the best chance of signing Brighton prospect Zak Sturge.
The 18-year-old turned down a new contract with the Albion last December.
Previous reports claimed that he was getting real interest from the Bundesliga at the time.
However, Metronow states that he is set to stay in England, as Chelsea have won the race for his signature.
Tottenham and Brentford were also seriously interested in securing Sturge.
The left-back has not yet made a senior appearance for Brighton, but has played for the Under-18s and Under-23s regularly.
